The Beautiful Game

The movie was enjoyable without all the boring special effects so often seen on other movies. Also absent were guns, weapons and violence. The story was uplifting.

This movie is beautiful! Not a sports fan, but the plot, actors and fact that this is based on a real organization that has helped 1,000,000 homeless people through a yearly football tournament is phenomenal. Love Bill Nighy. Love this movie. If you want a lift, this is a movie for you

The most pointless plot ever

Really good enjoyable movie. Has made me want to watch the homeless World Cup.

Very interesting and well done inspirational sports movie. It is a dramedy story, which gives you a good feeling after watching it.

The plot and direction look very simple at first, but when we think of the characters, their struggles and idiosyncrasies we can see a beautiful story. It’s not about football, but about human beings and their struggles and interactions. The movie tackles self awareness and the lack of it, jealousy, fear, courage, friendship, hope, amendments, and so on. I also liked very much to learn about this annual football tournament which I had never heard about.

Well made and enjoyable, but about thirty minutes too long. It would have been easy to tighten it up.

Seriously a horrible movie. The script, actors and whole movie is so bad it makes you laugh. Seriously, DO NOT watch this unless you like to laugh at horrible movies. So many subplots left just unresolved, conversations going from if I don't win I don't stay in the US to I love pineapple on pizza (not a joke) and then one guy Nathan( one of the leading secondary characters through the movie) just leaves and never comes back and no closing to his circumstances or situation, poor guy doesn't even get an apology. I am sure people rated this high because of the homelessness and bringing awareness to the Homelessness World Cup but seriously a HORRIBLE movie.

Their heart is in the right place but this is not a good film.

Such a heart strings movie. Never knew that a movie could be so moving and educational at the same time.
