Artist 50 Cent's new album Before I Self Destruct, which will be available everywhere Nov. 16, comes with a bonus DVD: A gritty 90-minute film, written, directed and starring Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent).

The film, 50 Cent's directorial debut, is a coming of age story about an inner city youth raised by a hardworking single mother. When his dream of becoming a basketball player fails to materialize after his mother is tragically gunned down, Clarence (played by Jackson) is consumed by revenge and takes up a life of crime in order to support his younger brother.

MovieTickets.com caught up with 50 Cent on the set of his new music video "Baby By Me" to talk about Before I Self Destruct. (Go to http://www.movietickets.com/50 to find out how you can see a free special screening of the film).

The rapper discusses directing Before I Self Destruct, talks about his favorite movies, and reveals a little something fans may not know about him.

Your fourth album, Before I Self Destruct, comes out Monday, November 16 (Editor's note: The album was originally set for release Nov. 23, but has since been bumped to Nov. 16 after it was leaked in its entirety a month before it was due to hit stores) But you're giving your fans a little something extra with it. Can you tell us about it?

What was the highlight of working behind the camera for the first time?



Is the movie Before I Self Destruct semi-autobiographical? How does it differ from Get Rich or Die Tryin', which was also loosely based on your life?

You got rich, but thankfully you didn't die tryin'! You have a record label and have dabbled in videogames, clothing, footwear, beverages, cars, books... So what's next for 50 Cent?
