, 43% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe entire thing is fairly unpleasant.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsGood cast, just too ridiculous to enjoy. I liked the pat, slap snap game though.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars1960s style door-slamming sex comedy about executive Jason Robards putting up his mistress in a swanky apartment as a business deduction. Guess which day of the week he sees her? Things get complicated when Dean Jones shows up at the apartment and Robards wife also becomes involved. It's a very likable case, and is quite entertaining. I also to have a crush on 1960s Jane Fonda, even if she had a terrible hairdo in this film, but it's really Jason Robards who shines here. I continue to be amazed at what a great actor he was, even when it's in light fluffy stuff like this.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsSlightly dated but still fun to watch. A joy to see young Fonda bouncing between Robards and Jones.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI always think making plays into movies is interesting and makes for a pretty good story. I have seen Jane Fonda in two movies like this, Barefoot in the Park (loved it) and this one, not as good as Neil Simon but fairly entertaining . I get into the sixties kinda life in NYC. Tres chic. : )
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsLots of fun and clever. Robards and Jones are great as is Murphy and they tend to overshadow Fonda. Witty, fast-paced, and a good fun watch.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is a early Jane Fonda movie
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsJane Fonda is really quite terrible in this extremely slight comedy.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMeandering and very dated farce whose main hook seems to be the sixties permissiveness that we're supposed to find shocking and exciting.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA comedy about adultery that has the emotional depth of a Disney movie (with Dean Jones to boot!).
