good date night for husbands pick
Surprised my husband, who loves scary movies, with this choice for a date night. He really liked it, and he is a scary movie snob. He took his two brothers to see it weeks later, and they all really enjoyed it. And, it wasn't too scary for me to enjoy, and I don't love scary movies.

Better done in 20 minutes
The scary moments were nicely done. And that's pretty much about it. Far too many plot holes and situational errors that anyone with any common sense would not have done. Especially in the 21st century. If you're looking for bad acting, worse writing, and an ending that didn't come soon enough, I recommend it. Otherwise, you're better off staring at a wall for an hour and a half and having your friend sneak up on your periodically.

Lotta Hype Not a lotta scares
the concept and the night stuff was fun but not scary really, I kept waiting for something that never happened. The daytime stuff was dull and at times annoying to listen to them argue or discuss the camera.
there were a LOT of solutions people in their position would have tried and it made me wonder why there didn't do any of them.
The ending was far fetched to say the least.

Very Intriguing Movie
I found the movie engaging because it was so different from the average movie. I enjoyed the way that you become an intimate part of this couple's experience. Definitely worth watching!

Best Ghost Story Ever
This is by far the closest to a believable ghost story as it's ever going to get. It has enough suspense with a building climax, which doesn't surprise me to hear people say they slept with their light on after watching this movie.
This movie represents how ghosts should really be portrayed: invisible, yet visually presentable only as shadows, while causing mysterious interactions with objects that it haunts. I'm sure this beats Blair Witch.

Big let down
Another fine example of "all the scares are in the trailers". It's only redeeming value is that it was made on such a low budget. I wish someone would give me 15,000 to make a film. Great premise but it never fully evoked the emotions of the characters.

Well Done
As a horror movie fan I had high expectations walking in to this movie. I thought it was really good. It wasn't the scariest film I've ever seen, but it had some great moments. I think big name celebrities would've ruined this film so I'm glad they released it with the original cast. Definitely a movie worth watching.

walked out
will eventually see entire movie. love the premise of the film. unfortunately the constant movement of the camera made my friend sick and gave me a headache. the 1st 45 minutes was not a scare at all and hopefully the rest would be a bit more thrilling. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE VERTIGO. i agree with an earlier review of the blair witch project take on it. again, i would like to continue to see what happens, but the big screen it will not be.
