MIKE TYSON WED AFTER DAUGHTER'S DEATH TO DEAL WITH GRIEF
Wednesday, October 10, 2012 - Boxing legend Mike Tyson has opened up about his decision to get married just two weeks after the death of his daughter in 2009, insisting he needed to focus on "something positive" in the wake of the tragedy.
The fighter secretly married his third wife Lakiha Spicer at a small Las Vegas chapel three years ago, just weeks after his four-year-old daughter Exodus was killed in a freak exercise machine accident at home.
Tyson has now revealed he decided to go ahead with his big day in a bid
to deal with his anger over his child's untimely death.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "After Exodus's death I knew I needed to do something positive and not sit there full of anger. I married the woman of my dreams. She's not dark like me. I want to die with her."
Tyson fathered Exodus with his second wife Monica Turner.
