SCOOTER FAN ANDREW GARFIELD REAR-ENDED IN SPIDER-MAN CAR
Wednesday, November 14, 2012 - Actor Andrew Garfield had insurance bosses rethinking his mode of transport during shoot, after he crashed his rental car on the first day of shooting.
The Brit prefers driving scooter to cars, but was banned from riding the two-wheeled vehicles while he was filming the Spider-Man prequel.
He tells U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, "I feel safer (on a scooter)... When I got Spider-Man, the studio said, 'You can't ride a scooter anymore. It's dangerous...' so they hired me a car and I got in an accident on the first day. I got rear-ended into the middle of a big... intersection. I was stopped and someone (hit me)."
