DEMI MOORE & ASHTON KUTCHER WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON CHARITY TOGETHER
Friday, November 16, 2012 - Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have announced they will continue to work together on their charitable efforts a year after their split.
The pair ended its six-year marriage last November amid reports the actor had cheated.
During their relationship the pair set up the The Demi and Ashton (Dna)
Foundation to raise awareness of global child sex trafficking, and now they have revamped the charity 12-months after their break-up to breath new life into the campaign.
The foundation is now known as Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children, and will focus on the role technology plays in the exploitation of youngsters.
In a joint statement, the former couple speak of their commitment to working together on the project, and add, "For the past three years we have
focused our work broadly on combating child sex trafficking. It has become crystal clear in our efforts that technology plays an increasingly large role in this crime and in the sexual exploitation of children overall.
"We believe that the technology-driven aspect of these crimes demands its own attention and investment. DNA will now be known as THORN. Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children exists to continue the work started by the DNa Foundation.=E2=80=9d
Moore and Kutcher are yet to file for divorce.
