HOLLY HUNTER PULLS OUT OF NEW YORK PLAY
Wednesday, December 12, 2012 - Oscar winner Holly Hunter is dropping out of the upcoming off-Broadway play The Vandal due to scheduling conflicts.
The Piano star will be replaced by stage veteran Deirdre O'Connell in the world premiere of actor Hamish Linklater's dark comedy, about a woman who swaps stories with a boy she meets at a bus stop on a cold night.
No further details about Hunter's withdrawal have been given.
The Vandal, which also boasts The Good Wife star Zach Grenier in its cast, is due to open on 31 January . (Paw/hr/kl)
