KEVIN SPACEY MAKES $32 MILLION PROMISE TO THEATRE COMPANY

Thursday, January 24, 2013 - Kevin Spacey has promised to raise $32 million (=C2£20 million) for his London theater company before he steps down from his role as artistic director in 2015.

The Usual Suspects star has been in charge of The Old Vic theater Company

in London since 2003, but he is planning to give up his job there in two years time.

However, Spacey wants to make sure the organization is on a firm financial footing before he leaves.

He tells Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, "I'm now planning to leave in 2015 and am determined to raise =C2£20 million by then as an endowment

fund to make the theater fit for the 21st century. We can then use the =C2£20 million to give us =C2£1 million-a-year income to help refurbish the theater - like more ladies loos (bathrooms) and more bar room."
