HUGH HEFNER'S ASSISTANT DIES
Monday, January 28, 2013 - Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner has paid tribute to his longtime assistant following her death.
The adult magazine tycoon took to his Twitter.com page on Sunday (27Jan13) to share the sad news about Mary O'Connor, who was his secretary for more
than 40 years and appeared in his reality TV show The Girls Next Door.
He tweeted, "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say.."
The official cause of death was unavailable as WENN went to press.
The 86-year-old Playboy boss previously credited O'Connor with helping him reconcile with Crystal Harris after his bride-to-be called off their 2011
wedding just days before the ceremony.
Hefner previously explained, "It's Mary O'Connor that brought Crystal Harris back. Crystal was miserable and said so. Mary told Crystal to write and
tell me, which she did."
The reunited couple exchanged vows at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills, California on New Year's Eve (31Dec12).
