BRIAN BLESSED TO RECORD VOICEMAIL MESSAGES FOR PHONE COMPANY
Monday, January 28, 2013 - Veteran British actor Brian Blessed has signed up to provide "bespoke voicemail messages" for customers of a U.K. cell phone company.
The Flash Gordon star has teamed up with chiefs at O2 to record greetings
in his "sonorous voice and even mightier volume" to mark the launch of two
new devices.
The first 100 customers to order the phones will receive a personalised voicemail message, and Blessed has vowed to entertain callers.
He adds, "I'm thrilled to be lending my vocal talents to the good folk at
O2. I'm planning to have a lot of fun with the voicemail messages, and leave the caller amused, confused and generally bewildered."
