DJANGO UNCHAINED CAST RAISES MONEY FOR ARM TRANSPLANT PATIENT

Tuesday, January 29, 2013 - Moviemaker Quentin Tarantino and the stars of his acclaimed Western Django Unchained have sold off a signed clapperboard to raise money for an Icelandic man preparing to undergo a double arm transplant.

Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. J ackson and Kerry Washington and Tarantino signed the autographed film slate and handed it

to Gudmundur Felix when they heard of his ongoing fundraising efforts.

The one-of-a-kind clapperboard went under the hammer on auction website eBay.com and pulled in $4,250 (=C2£2,700) for Felix, who is moving from Icleand to France in March to await the operation.

Foxx took to his Twitter.com page to share news of the sale, writing, "Glad I could help out."

Felix's story is being recorded by a film crew for a documentary entitled

New Hands, set for release next year . (Paw/wntwt/kl)
