BERENICE MARLOHE IN FLIGHT FUMES TERROR

Monday, February 18, 2013 - BOND girl Berenice Marlohe missed a special SKYFALL event in London on Friday (15Feb13) after her flight from Los Angeles was grounded over fears the cabin had filled with toxic fumes.

The French actress had been due to jet in to the British capital to join her Skyfall co-star Naomie Harris in unveiling a Bond-branded train to mark

the film's DVD release.

However, Marlohe was absent from the event as she was left stranded in Las Vegas after the British Airways plane she was traveling on was forced to

make an emergency landing.

Passengers on the flight also included dancer/actress Julianne Hough and her TV presenter boyfriend Ryan Seacrest, and they were all reportedly advised to wear oxygen masks as a precaution after several people fell sick.

A spokesman for the film company behind Skyfall tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "It was a real shame Berenice was unable to attend our launch, where she was due to unveil the Skyfall train with fellow Bond actress Naomie Harris. Sadly Berenice's plane from Los Angeles was grounded in Las Vegas due to fumes in the cabin."

A representative for British Airways adds, "Safety is always our top priority and as a precaution the captain diverted our Los Angeles to London service into Las Vegas after a suspected technical problem. We provided hotels

for customers and re-booked them on to alternative flights out of Las Vegas as soon as possible. We are sorry for the disruption to their travel plans."
