Friday, June 14, 2013 - Socialite Paris Hilton has shared CCTV footage of the moment a member of Hollywood's notorious 'Bling Ring' gang broke into her home.

The reality TV star is among a group of A-listers, including Orlando Bloom and Lindsay Lohan, whose properties were targeted by young burglars who snatched more than $3 million (=C2£1.9 million) worth of goods.

The gang's activities have since become the basis of Sofia Coppola's latest movie, The Bling Ring, which stars Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, and

features a cameo appearance from Hilton.

The socialite has now shared a video on Pheed.com showing the moment her Los Angeles home was targeted by the real life thieves.

In grainy CCTV footage, a hooded person can be seen entering the property

before creeping up a flight of stairs and exiting with an armful of goods.

In a caption posted alongside the video, Hilton writes, "Surveillance video of the real (Bling Ring) thieves from the security cameras in my house on the night of one of the many burglaries. (Dirty rotten thieves)."

The reality TV star recently spoke out about her reaction to the film, telling New York Magazine, "I was really emotional watching it. During some parts of it, I literally had tears in my eyes and I wanted to cry. I knew what happened with the burglaries, but I had never actually seen it - so watching it happen, I was like, 'Oh my God, this really happened to me. These kids were really in my house and did this to me.'

"It's so violating. It just made me really angry and upset, and when I see these kids, I want to, like, slap them."
