TIM ALLEN SURPRISED BY MARCHING BAND TO MARK 60TH BIRTHDAY

Friday, June 14, 2013 - Actor Tim Allen had a 60th birthday to remember on Thursday (13Jun13) when he was surprised with a performance by a marching band - in the middle of a

movie theatre.

The Toy Story star had hired out the luxury iPic cinema in Pasadena, California to enjoy a private screening of new Superman movie Man of Steel, and

was left stunned when members of a local band interrupted the film to serenade the birthday boy.

The stunt was reportedly organised by Allen's close pals, and the musicians were given a standing ovation as they marched back out of the theatre.

Grainy video footage of the surprise has been obtained by TMZ.com and after the performance, Allen can be heard joking, "The bad news is, there is no movie! Thank you ladies and gentlemen - now get out!"
