CRAIG BIERKO OUT OF MATILDA MUSICAL OVER SHOULDER INJURY
Friday, October 11, 2013 - Stage star Craig Bierko has pulled out of his role in a Broadway production
of Matilda The Musical for three months after aggravating a shoulder injury.
The actor is going on hiatus for 12 weeks in a bid to recover from an ongoing issue with his arm. He will be replaced by understudies Chris Hoch and
Bierko had initially delayed his entrance into the production by two weeks last month (Sep13) because of his health issues, but the injury has flared up again.
In a statement, the show's bosses said Bierko's shoulder had been "aggravated during performance", adding, "Craig Bierko will be taking a 12-week disability leave from the production."
