FIRE FIGHTERS HALT PROTEST FOR DAME JUDI DENCH PREMIERE

Wednesday, October 16, 2013 - A group of fire fighters halted a protest outside the premiere of Dame Judi

DENCH's new film on Wednesday (16Oct13) to serenade the Oscar winner.

Members of the Fire Brigades Union were campaigning against pension cuts outside a Leicester Square pub in London when Dench and her Philomena co-star Steve Coogan hit the red carpet, but they ceased yelling for justice when they spotted the revered thespian and broke into song.

The burly protesters sang the Beatles' Hey Jude and chanted, "We love you

Judi!".
