LEONARDO DICAPRIO FINALLY SELLS OFF MALIBU BEACH HOME

Monday, December 30, 2013 - Leonardo D iCAPRIO has finally offloaded his beachfront mansion in Malibu, California after slashing the price by more than $5 million (=C2£3.3 million).

The Titanic star originally placed the property, which is located in the exclusive Malibu Colony area and boasts two guest houses, up for sale in 2012 for $23 million (=C2£15.3 million), but it failed to attract any buyers and he reduced the price in June to $18.9 million (=C2£12.6 million).

However, realtors still struggled to shift the pad, prompting the actor to lower the cost once more - and now it has been purchased for $17.4 million (=C2£11.6 million).

However, DiCaprio still has reason to celebrate - he paid just $6 million

(=C2£4 million) for the 1927 home in 2002, according to TheMalibuRealEstateBlog.com.
