FASCINATING FACT:

Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - Rush Hour filmmaker Brett Ratner is helping to bring Pulitzer Prize-winning novel The Goldfinch to the big screen by signing on as a producer. Studio bosses at Warner Bros. picked up the rights to author Donna Tartt's 2013 best seller, which tells the story of a young boy who steals Carel Fabritius' pricey painting The Goldfinch from New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. A director has yet to be appointed to take on the job.
