Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - Actress Katie Holmes is planning to expand her resume as a filmmaker by optioning the movie rights to upcoming book All We Had, about a struggling single mom who becomes stranded in a quirky little town with her teenage daughter. The Batman Begins star is confident the novel, by artist-turned-author Annie Weatherwax, will be such a hit, she is eager to adapt the story for the big screen, reports the New York Post. All We Had will hit retailers next week. Holmes previously served as executive producer for 2010's film adaptation of The Romantics.
