(Boca Raton, FL and Hollywood, CA - May 25, 2001) – MovieTickets.com today announced record-breaking advance orders for the Memorial Day weekend, due to extraordinary demand for "Pearl Harbor" tickets. Advance ticket sales for "Pearl Harbor" are currently pacing at four times the sales of the previous MovieTickets.com record-holder, "The Mummy Returns." MovieTickets.com was the first site to provide advance ticketing for "Pearl Harbor," beginning May 15th, and is providing the advance ticketing engine for PearlHarbor.com.

Purchasing tickets online is simple. Users click on www.MovieTickets.com, enter their postal code so they can find nearby theaters, select a movie and showtime, and buy their tickets with a credit card. Then, they simply go to the theater's box office and pick up their tickets. In addition, the company is currently rolling out at home ticket printing, which will further increase the convenience factor.
MovieTickets.com employs the latest technology for maintaining data security and allows customers to register with the Web site to easily purchase movie tickets without entering credit card information every time.
