MOVIETICKETS.COM FORGES PARTNERSHIP WITH MTV NETWORKS TO PROVIDE ONLINE MOVIE TICKETING SERVICES
MTV.com and VH1.com Launch New Movie Sections Featuring the MovieTickets.com Service
(Los Angeles, CA – November 23, 2004) – MovieTickets.com has been selected to provide online movie ticketing services for MTV Networks. Through the deal, MTV.com and VH1.com users will have access to the MovieTickets.com's ticketing inventory which represents over 30 theater chains and more than half of the top-grossing screens in North America, including most of the highest performers nationwide. The online ticketing service via MovieTickets.com debuts today with the launch of www.mtv.com/movies. The service debuts on VH1.com when the site opens its own movies section on Tuesday, December 7 at www.vh1.com/movies. CMT.com will launch the service during the first half of 2005.

MovieTickets.com powered ticketing services will enable visitors to MTV.com and VH1.com to buy movie tickets. MovieTickets.com ticketing and data will be available from MTV.com and VH1.com's newly launched Movies section where users will have seamless access to advance tickets via a co-branded site. Ticket buyers who search for movies and showtimes can purchase tickets for screens affiliated with the MovieTickets.com service, which represents several of the largest exhibitors in the nation.
MTV Networks joins MovieTickets.com's prominent affiliate program which includes some of the most highly trafficked sites on the Web, and covers a significant percentage of the Internet population including AOL Moviefone, MSN, Earthlink, Movies.com, NYTimes.com, the Excite Network, Lycos, and a host of other web sites. MovieTickets.com is also a preferred provider for many of the nation's largest phone and mobile carriers.
Recently, MovieTickets.com assumed all of AOL Moviefone’s exhibitors, making them the most powerful ticketing provider in the category. Exhibitors also include the recent addition of Pacific Theatres which signed on to offer its tickets on MovieTickets.com. Pacific maintains nearly 400 movie screens throughout Los Angeles, San Diego and Hawaii.
MovieTickets.com theater partners are among the strongest industry leaders nationwide. MovieTickets.com's average screens per theater are 11 versus the industry average of six, and more than 50 percent of MovieTickets.com's exhibitors' theaters are 14 to 30-plex, stadium seated mega-plexes.
MovieTickets.com exhibitors currently include AMC Theatres, Consolidated Theatres, Crown Theatres, Famous Players, Hoyts Cinemas, Krikorian Premiere Theatres, Marcus Theatres, Metropolitan Theatres, National Amusements, Pacific Theatres, Rave Motion Pictures, Ritz Theatres, Sayville Theatre, Spotlight Theatres, Baederwood Movie Theatre Co., the Bryn Mawr Movie Theatre Co., the Narberth Theatre, and Cinemagic Movies.
Exhibitors that are being transitioned to MovieTickets.com, pursuant to the Moviefone agreement include: Brooklyn Academy of Music, Cinema Four-Quad, Classic Cinemas, Clearview Cinemas, Dickinson Theatres, Entertainment Retail (Hollywood Hits), Kew Gardens (Cobble Hill), KLM Theatres, Landmark Theatres, Mann Theatres, Reading Cinemas USA (City Cinemas), and Six West (Paris/NY Twin).
