(Los Angeles, CA - July 28, 2005) – Now, consumers have greater access to The IMAX Experience®, the world’s most immersive cinematic experience. MovieTickets.com (www.movietickets.com), the most powerful Internet movie ticketing service provider, and IMAX Corporation (Nasdaq:IMAX; TSX:IMX) have announced a pact that benefits consumers by offering expanded access to online tickets and information about IMAX films and select IMAX® theatres throughout North America.
“Through this partnership, MovieTickets.com will now be able to help increase awareness of the Hollywood event films available in IMAX’s format,” said Mitch Rubenstein, Co-CEO, MovieTickets.com. “We’re excited to launch our new IMAX area on MovieTickets.com, and provide our moviegoers, who expect more than a typical experience, with direct access to online ticketing and programming information for IMAX theatres.”
