Jennifer Lawrence: 'I Knew Passengers Wouldn't Work'

Jennifer Lawrence is annoyed with herself about signing on for last year's deep space love story Passengers without scrutinizing the script.

The actress admits she loved making the film with Chris Pratt but should have known it was lacking--and she wasn't surprised when critics savaged the movie.

"I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it," she tells Vogue. "I thought the script was beautiful--it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not embarrassed by it by any means.

"There was just stuff that I wished I'd looked into deeper before jumping on."

In the film, Pratt's character wakes up early from a deep space slumber en route to a distant planet where he will continue life and decides to end a fellow passenger's sleep so he can have a little company.
