'All the Money in the World' Moves to Christmas Day Release After Reshoot Drama

Director Ridley Scott's Getty family kidnapping drama will open on Christmas Day after Kevin Spacey was edited out of the movie.

All the Money in the World underwent extensive reshoots in Italy and the U.K. at the end of last month after Scott opted to cut the actor out of the film after he was accused of sexual misconduct, and replace him with Christopher Plummer, who initially auditioned for the role of billionaire J. Paul Getty.

The director and producers were hoping the film would still be ready to hit theaters on December 22, but it has been delayed by three days.

Scott still managed to complete post-production on the film last week, just before he turned 80.

Sources tell Deadline, the new film screened on Monday for members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in New York and Los Angeles, before they voted on Golden Globes nominations.
