Brad Pitt to Join Leonardo DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's New Movie

Brad Pitt has been cast as the stunt double of Leonardo DiCaprio's ageing western star in Quentin Tarantino's new movie.
DiCaprio recently signed on to reteam with his Django Unchained director for the project, which will be called Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and now reports of Pitt's involvement have been confirmed.
In a release obtained by Deadline, Tarantino has described the film as "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood."
"The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor... Sharon Tate."
He adds, "I've been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that don’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff."
Tarantino has reportedly asked Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie to play actress Tate, who was infamously slaughtered by members of the Manson Family cult while pregnant with movie maker Roman Polanski's child.
This won't be Pitt's first film with Tarantino--the movie star led the cast of the director's 2009 World War Two drama Inglourious Basterds.
Tom Cruise has also been linked to a role in the movie, but his involvement has yet to be confirmed.
