10 Cloverfield Lane

I love this psychological thriller. I had not seen the first Cloverfield so the ending actually did surprise me. If you have not seen the first one I'd watch this one before it. Fun/intense movie.

John Goodman is such a surprising actor everytime. He always plays something close to what I expect, but somehow even better everytime. Love love love his acting in this. This movie definitely does keep you guessing and second guessing right until the climax at the end but its worth the watch. This is a solid post-apocalypse surviving in a bunker type movie that u can watch on its own but keep in mind that this movie does tie in to other movies so if you feel like its not enough, theres more to the story. Its a bit slow paced for a portion of the movie but you wont regret it by the end.

Spin chilling intensity. Full of details that fuel the mystery. Incredible editing & visual storytelling. Some of the best pacing ever with high tension split with meaningful dialogue. What a masterful screenplay!

Amazing thriller and performance from everyone involved, makes you question who is really the good guy and what are their real intentions.

Great combination of sci fi & horror with great acting, especially by John Goodman. The plot kept me guessing. Third time I've seen it.

3.5 stars; I have to say this film really surprised me. I read the synopsis and was not really impressed. The plot sounded a little hokey, and I wasn't looking forward to a John Goodman performance. I couldn't have been more wrong on both counts. Goodman was totally authentic with his dark character portrayal, and the plot had so many twists and turns that it went beyond a sci-fi plot. The ending was totally shocking.

It really worked. although i watched without knowing about "Cloverfield" franchise. John Goodman is amazing in this.

I am never impressed with movies in this genre anymore. THIS ONE WAS SPECIAL.

One of my favorite sci-fi thrillers, and also a film I wouldn't reveal too many details, as to spoil the fabulous twists in plot throughout. Essentially, the movie plays out like a mystery for a good amount of running time: Is Howard the homeowner (Goodman) really telling the truth about what's going on outside the silo? Can Howard really be trusted? Are residents Michelle and Emmett going to discover anything that sheds light on that question? This is where the film really captivates in an attempt to get those answers, and by the time the truth is unveiled...KA-POW!! Such great entertainment from start to finish. A real Gem!!!

Just fantastic! I even love the weird ending. Keeps you guessing throughout the movie with a lot of suspense Great acting. It's one of those movies you can watch again. A must see!!.
