Twentysomething caped-crusader fans may get a warmer buzz of nostalgia here than they will at The Dark Knight Rises.

"A Cat in Paris" has a jazzy, relaxed beauty; it's old-school, hand-drawn animation, and you sense the fun the artists were having.

At a little over an hour, it's a slight but visually charming adventure.

This film is gorgeous.

This is some dark stuff for a children's movie. But the story is told with charming, hand-drawn animation, making it much less frightening than it would be in live action.

The animation and style is wonderful, the voice acting is great, the story is fantastic and you absolutely won't regret checking this film out.
