A Hole in My Heart
audience Reviews
, 36% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsYou probably haven't seen a lot of films like this one, I'll give that to Moodysson. But the audiovisual unconventionality isn't paired with any discernible, articulate message; instead, we are treated to hollow characters, spasmodic editing and random artsy-fartsy shots. The end result is nowhere near as shocking or provocative as it wants to think it is; it's bizarre, unrewarding and even boring.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsEste filme é visceral. Um soco na boca do estômago, literalmente!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsOne of the worst movies I've seen in a long time.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThoroughly disturbing images and no script at all. It does come with some interesting use of music and jump cuts. In the extras of the DVD it has documented an arguement between the actors and director about no directions being given from Lukas Moodysson. Strange thing to have in your DVD, Lukas.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsAside from the (female) friend that recommended the film to me, I can't think of a single person in my life that I could encourage to watch this. It felt way more profound than the typical experimental film... but is definitely not for the faint of heart or even the average "challenging cinema" crowd. It's about as unsettling as they come, but Moodysson (who's always humane) finds some way to ground even this in compassion.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsA pity ... this is even more disgusting/disturbing than "Lilja forever", but "Lilja forever" at least had a purpose! This one just left me with an indifferent shrug. I think Moodysson has proven that he can do better.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsi honestly dont even know how to rate this movie. its just awful seeing a woman being treated like that.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsLukas Moodysen, what have you done? This was certainly no show me love or together. You upset me.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWTF? i'm gonna see sweet movie again!!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI loved movies like Show Me Love (Fucking Åmal) and Lilja-4-Ever, but with this film Lukas Moodysson really fucked up. I just can't believe it's the same guy who has made those movies.
