This drama was very good. Tom Hanks, Truman Hanks, Mariana Trevino, Rachel Keller, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and the rest of the cast did a spectacular job in this movie. The story of the movie was dramatic, tragic, and heartfelt. It's about a man that's troubled by the world and wants to end his life, but finds friendship and love and does anything he can to help them. If you haven't seen this movie yet, check it out sometime. It's a definite must see.

Heartwarming, gut-wrenching, adorable, funny, and totally relatable. This movie is tough, but it's very much worth the journey.

I see how this one catches the hearts of many, and it is definitely good, but I would put it in the front row. Definitely worth watching though.

To me this movie showed what is real in this world today and also what is lacking, using a grumpy Tom Hanks to carry that message. Anyone in a marriage wishes to be that couple when one leaves the other wants to follow. Some of us will never have that. But watching the love Otto clearly had for his wife without the big reveal at the end was truly heart warming. In the end that love he had for his wife overcame his grumpy feelings he had towards other people. His wife in her absence made that possible. It isn’t often a movie has that powerful message. So thanks to the writer and actors who pulled it off magically.

This movie was “under the radar” but should have been treated like every other Tom Hanks movie! The acting was great! Even though I knew how the movie would end, I was still enthralled right through to the end. I recommend watching this movie!

Film absolutely brought me to tears, there are alot of aspects in this movie where watchers can relate and feel some sort of connection

Normally, i am not a big fun of the "americanisation" of foreign stories and books (this one from Sweden), however, this was done very tastefully. Great adaptation with amazing cast of even better book.

Went into this movie blind and oh boy was it beautiful. Funny and emotional this film had both my girlfriend and I ugly crying at the end.

After years of playing such a likeable guy in movies, I was impressed by how well Tom Hanks could portray such a grumpy old curmudgeon. And yet, even though he’s kind of awful to everyone else for most of A Man Called Otto, he’s also still kind of likeable. This movie isn’t for everyone. It features some heavy topics. Also, some of the messaging comes off as heavy-handed. Nevertheless, this film has some powerful performances and, despite the grim subject matter, it balances things out with some appropriate levity. I liked A Man Called Otto, but I don’t know if I could recommend it to many others.
