audience Reviews
, 31% Audience Score- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThe sequels to the original classic are silly and not scary.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsWhile. It being as fun as the previous instalment this is still a very fun and entertaining slasher that gives you exactly what you want, and is way better than the next movie
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsOh Hell No This Movie Was a Disgrace To The Franchise Freddy Is Getting Cartoony With This Movie 2/10
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsElm Street’s fifth film aims to maintain its continuous source of entertainment for fans by introducing a more comical Freddy Krueger. However, it ultimately squanders the franchise’s potential and leads to a downward spiral. Grading: D+
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe franchise has dried out by now and Freddy Krueger just isn't scary anymore and has just become cheesy. There is probably one good kill but the rest just isn't great.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIt dawdles along a bit at the start but the rebirth sequence is so epic, absolutely fantastic. Then it goes back to dawdling along not doing much until the dream sequences which are so much fun. The bits in-between dreams are just filler. Overall the story and tone is a bit of a mess. Whilst it is far from the worst in the Freddy and Jason series it is certainly not my favourite. The fantastic dream sequences are offset by a whole lot of nonsense and nothing.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsDream Child tries to be Freddy's origin story, but turns into a goulash of dreams, drawings, claymation and "Take On Me" graphics.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWorst movie I’ve ever watched the ending is just ew worst movie ever 🤢🤮
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDefinitely the worst of the saga, the plot begins to falter a bit but all in all it's a pleasure to watch. Robert englund and Lisa wilcox remain fantastic
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDreamn Child could have been a good entry into this franchise, but it's arguably one of the worst. Freddy Krueger has lost all his dark edge, being replaced by ridiculously goofy comedy, and with the exception of Lisa Wilcox, the other characters are all completely expendable and forgettable. The kills still remain entertaining, but even the quality of the special effects are starting to diminish.
