A Working Man

I usually love watching Jason Statham movies. He’s a great actor but not even he could save this movie. This movie was everywhere, pick a plot and stick with it! Why only save ONE girl, why were there not others? And it’s not just because “do you have a daughter” it’s more about human trafficking is wrong. The Beekeeper movie was amazing. He burnt the entire corrupt scam ring to the ground. But this movie was everywhere and no real point to the movie. I was pretty sad! Still like Jason Statham, just not this movie.

Poor dialogue; weird, unrealistic situations; hackneyed plot. The bad guys aren’t evil enough to hate and the good guys are too stupid and pedantic to love. It’s better viewed as a comedy or parody than a serious action movie. Can’t someone come up with a villain more original than increasingly higher echelons of clad-in-black Russian gangsters? A bad spoof of John Wick.

Quite boring. Cheesy predictable dialogs. Storyline uninteresting full of holes and problems. A bad movie overall.

It wasn't the worse film in the Stratham catalogue of film but it did have a TAKEN feel about it. Very good action fight scenes, which we can always expect. Good.

standard action fare. its not something we haven't seen before but nevertheless a good time to waste your two hours in.

the story got lost somewhere

Very good. Not quite as good as Beekeeper, but still good movie.

This is a horrible movie. It's almost a parody of good movies that are of a similar vein. But it's laughable, formulaic, and EVERYONE is a cardboard cutout of a good guy, bad guy, or troubled hero. There is NOTHING interesting about this movie.

Quase com 60 anos e esta interaço. O estilo dos filmes não muda, mas como sempre seu estilo não cansa de ser visto. Igual como foi com Jackie Chan, o estilo não mudava, mas sempre agradava. Aqui Statham é um ex-mariner e trabalha agora em uma empreiteira de construção. Mas tudo muda quando a filha do empreiteiro é sequestrada, e eles pedem Levon (Stathan). Mas mesmo sem nenhuma pista ele começa a vasculhar, até descobrir que um mafioso russo estava envolvido, e para conseguir informações acaba eliminando, porem ele era filho de um chefões da máfia e agora ele tem toda a máfia russa atrás dele. E como acaba se envolvendo com outras gangs, que também passam a persegui-lo. Até descobrir que o filho do mafioso era o responsavel. Até chegar ao ultimo embate. Como sempre uma ótima coregrafia de lutas, tiros, porradas. E com várias reviravolta bem construídas. JAson faz seu papel de Jason. Vale apena assistir? Sim, um filme bem construido. Nota: 8

Nowhere near as good as their previous collaboration "The Beekeeper" this was still a fun Statham action movie.
