Too convoluted. They should've went story by story. Too much about the brain. After death should be about what the person experienced. There is little of this. It is just medical people debating. Do not buy.

Amazing documentary, of real life people that saw heaven and hell! Almost all accounts have the same things happen! The critics of this movie think all these people got together and made up these stories. When you hear about them all the time, not just in this documentary. Most of the testimonys of people dying report people watching doctors working on them and hearing the doctors talking. I pray for all the people that refuse to believe that we have a God who created us and loved us so much that He would send His son to die for us. What do you have to loose by believing, by not believing you could go to hell. Thank you to everyone who made this documentary!

If you're a cynical atheist or a miserable person who usually sees things as half empty, OF COURSE you're not going to like this movie because it clashes with your negativity or beliefs. I watched this movie in theaters and I liked it so much that I had my son go with me to watch it a second time because as of right now, he's 17 and doesn't believe in God yet. And no I'm not a bible thumper or zealot. I actually don't even like most Christians because they usually don't represent what Jesus and God stand for. And before I saw this movie, i wasn't afraid of death. I'm not afraid of anything actually. But AFTER I saw this movie, I REALLY don't fear it. The only concern I have is that I wouldn't be here for my wife and kids or to help mankind. Anyhow, not only is this movie well done, entertaining and just a really cool experience but it might even give some hope to those that aren't living their best lives right now. Shawshank is my favorite all time movie and both these movies have that in common. I go to the movies at least once a week and I deff recommend this one.

Very good movie, especially for people who have just lost a loved one or are grieving the loss of a family member. It helps you understand what death is and what happens after we die from a scientific point of view. It then helps us explain to others what we have experienced in these near-death situations or have had close experiences with family members who have communicated or said goodbye after their departure from this physical world. It's a movie that brings peace by knowing that there is something more after death and why many do not want to return from the afterlife when they die in a hospital due to different factors. It sheds light on what is really happening and what awaits us.

It’s a great introduction to a complicated topic and includes some of the top speakers and writers in the field. Great starter:)

This was just terrible. I want my money back! What a scam. Absolutely nothing but a few random anecdotal hallucinations. What a let down. There are so many better NDE documentaries and books out there. This was just utter trash.

A documentary about people who have experienced the afterlife after their own brush with death. Interviews are conducted by both survivors from their encounters as well as medical experts. The survivors describe their experiences in either Heaven or Hell, depending upon whichever destination they were going to. A truly powerful and moving documentary that will reinforce those with beliefs and will hopefully encourage those who are non-believers to reevaluate their own. With the shape of the world we live in today, more people need to see this documentary as I cannot recommend it enough!

Simply incredible. Every person should watch and will provide insights into our purpose.

Documentary not at movie, a religious "Christian" documentary. I thought I was going to be asked for a donation in exchange of a Bible by the end.
