Alien: Romulus

Aliens, with kids instead of adults. Meh. Better than Prometheus. Worse than Covenant.

Great movie that gives you the same feeling as any other alien movie.

Great movie. Definitely keeps the practical effects just like the old ones did which makes this even more realistic. Very enjoyable and crazy. The best out of the franchise in my opinion.

It should be called Alien: Best Of The Franchise Because that's what it felt like. Watching a 'best of album' in film. A cheap lazy play it safe filled with member berries, a predictable story and unlikeable and unintelligent characters. And it just gets worse every time I'm forced to watch it. I was expecting a lousy instalment in this franchise. I wasn't disappointed...

What a wild ride. Great tribute to the alien films of the past while standing on its own. This movie also borrowed quite a bit from the legendary Event Horizon IMO. 9/10

Great film, love the ending definitely worth a watch.

The first Alien was groundbreaking. The second Aliens was action-packed and exciting. Much later was Prometheus, which featured a distinct storyline. Romulus in contrast is just a re-hash of the earlier movies, watchable but not more. The only new thing is a hybrid monster, and that beasty is more ugly than scary.

The monster at the end was very cheesy and I would have preferred a more typical alien but other than that it was great

I have mixed feelings about this movie. The story had good potential and started strong but I felt it just reverted to typical hack and slash stuff. Kind of a let down to be honest. By the end I mostly just felt exhausted. Not likely to watch it again.
