Almost Christmas

Has some of the standard Christmas corniness and, if I'm being honest, I don't think the ending offered enough of a resolution regarding some of the conflicts, but Almost Christmas's committed cast, good sense of comedic timing (Mo'Nique steals the show and I have to say, it takes a great amount of restraint to have her play a character named Aunt May and manage to avoid making a Spider-Man joke) and decent moments of drama help make it a passable holiday film, even if it isn't particularly interested in trying to break new ground.

Cute, entertaining, and funny, with a solid cast and sweet ending.

While not perfect it's a cute movie and it does have Christmas spirit. A bit heavy handed at times but when it hits it hits.

Honestly, having lost my father Christmas day 1993, I found Danny Glover's character adorable. The cast from adults to kids were cast well. I love the closeness they all share. I look forward to watching this year after year.

Just what a Christmas movie should have: a long-overdue family gathering of far-flung relatives, holiday meals, music, holiday decorating, hilarity (so funny), sticky situations, romance, and plenty of scenes that will have viewers laughing and crying (mostly happy tears). I love this movie and have watched it every Christmas season for many years.

I loved this movie! It had just the right amount of crying and heartfelt moments! A must watch!

Got this off the rotten christmas list and I thought it was great for a Christmas movie! Sure it's got some heavy cheese but I thought it worked pretty well without coming off that way. Definitely a movie I'll watch again next December.

A great holiday movie, A great cast too, I love Christmas🎄🎁, It is kinda funny too, But I don't think this movie is really for young kids though, Especially the cursing lol, I'll give it a 3/5

This movie would be way better if it did it self very serious but its other average movie it has some good drama with the family but it was just was not forced on the main task of the movie which there is so much plots in does which makes no sense.selling the house was so dumb and that family table arugment it is funny.this movie is wired and its just like 2007 this chirstmas its kinda like that movie but yeah not a fan its a 5.5/10 i will not see again.all the characters are not fun or likeable just ok.

Instant classic with a heart felt story and awesome one liners.
