"Am I OK?" is a mostly passable movie that centers around an adult female friendship. It is one of those stories that I appreciated because it reminded me that life around the 20s and 30s tends to just be full of changes and it can really be overwhelming, and for portraying that, it is very relatable. I do think the movie could have been longer with even more depth and also think Dakota Johnson's performance in this is somewhat iffy. I think she does an okay job here and it certainly isn't her worst outing, but I feel they could have cast this movie differently and it could have resonated more emotionally. Overall, it is an okay movie about young people with some original tweaks and while being far from a genre best, is still a light and heartwarming movie you can enjoy on streaming for about 80 minutes.

It was a very obvious movie. I felt like I knew what was going to happen before it happened. Chatgpt could have written something better.

Sem graça, achei que o final ia ser bom mas foi igualmente monótono

Dakota Johnson is so adorable in this film. It seems like the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson does not age or went „Back to the Future.“ The film is moving at a gentle speed taking advantage of some great locations the city of Angels has to offer. (Who didn’t catch Alexander von Roon‘s „Stairs of Santa Monica“ - spoiler alert). The dialogue is witty and Sean Hayes adds some comic relief. Sonoya Mizuno is convincing and fin to watch. Great fun for inflight entertainment and we hope to see more from Teatime Projects or Pictures or even develop some deep intellectually challenging lasting projects for them.

So this is the third movie I couldn't get through more than 5 minutes because of Dakota Johnson. She is so incredibly boring and monotone. I just don't feel like she understands that acting actually requires feeling something.

Surprised to see such a high rating on this site. The story lacks a development arc. Out of nowhere, the protagonist decides to shake up her life, but nothing significant happens to prompt her change. The character's arc is weak, although the theme is initially interesting, it was poorly developed. Dakota's performance is charismatic. Jane and Danny don't convince as a couple at all, and their breakup is another thing that comes out of nowhere in the story. The jokes are silly, superficial. A completely banal film that could have been better with a stronger script.
