Ambulance
audience Reviews
, 87% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPerhaps the most mind numbing, stupid Machismo Movie ever made! Dialogue consists of dudes angrily shouting, yelling, and barking orders in way too much overly done tough guy fashion. Then there's the tough guy facial expressions of testerone fueled steroid induced angst, combined with incredibly loud engine revving, machine gun pounding, siren screaming aweful noises throughout the entire movie - oh joy! I came out of the movie w/way less braincells than I had beforehand - I can't believe how bad this movie was - I smell an Oscar . . . NOT!@#$%
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsAmbulance is a trailer full of action and pure adrenaline around a bank robbery. Its direction is at times very peculiar and its script is slow.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis action thriller heist rarely slowed down, but guess it counts driving 20mph for major surgery to take place in the back of the ambulance. Fun watching Jake play a bad guy.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsSpeed on an ambulance. Story makes no sense. No idea why Jake Gyllenhaal is in this movie (besides to make a lot of money).
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsSakto lang. Para kang nanuod ng Bad Boys II or ng Transformers. Kopyang kopya ang mga chase scenes pati mga eksenang may explosives. Pero dahil sa galing na pag ganap ng mga bida, satisfied naman ako sa napanuod ko.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt reels you in as a compelling movie, but tragically ends and disappointment.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI was at the edge of my seat. one thing about michael bay , he will deliver with the adrenalin but i had expected danny to survive and end up in prison and while in prison plan another heist inside prison as the mastermind of course.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsjust awful only watched it because they covered it on the podcast How Did This Get Made
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsbest action movie of the past few years
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsMichael Bay’s finest heap of hot garbage comes in the form of an ambulance. The movie is a perpetual car chase scene where two brothers are running from police, and are at odds with one another. The film itself portrays these two brothers inconsistently throughout the movie by having them have morals and values, only to ignore them when convenient (or even inconvenient) or when it will “look really cool”. The movie tries to take itself really seriously, but some moments seem to be made to force laughter out of the audience, even though none of the jokes are exactly funny. And, in one scene, the protagonists are finally at their end with the police ready to catch them and bring them down, making it nearly impossible for them to win now, but a literal dog stops the entire police force from catching and arresting these people. The camera angles are absolutely insane in that it feels like a cinematographer came in and Michael Bay edited all the angles and beauties of it to make it look like absolute dog water with unnecessarily close close-ups that are CONSTANTLY being used throughout the film. No part of this film felt actually great or actually fun to watch, it just felt like a slug the whole way through with Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II trying their best to make it better. Some moments were laughably bad and I cannot say I liked this film much at all.
