If this movie was 15-20 minutes shorter, it would have been a strong action flick. It just got too long. Seemed like the Director decided that every big trick in the bag related to car chases in an ambulance needed to be performed. Not bad, not great.

They should have went with an action comedy genre, because this movie is hilarious. The characters and the plot get as lost as you will, but you will be laughing the entire way. They should use this movie as a recruitment video for EMTs.

It is watchable, a way to pass the time, but nothing I would specifically recommend if there were at least a tiny amount of alternatives. Good: the action scenes (which are >80% of the movie), the CGI is nice and the acting is believable (except for the female lead, which however was great in the sadly cancelled series "Lie to Me") Bad: the story is as unbelievable as realistic, so you have to turn of your brain and critical thinking when watching this. The movie also feels longer than it actually is, most likely because >80% is watching an ambulance getting chased by cops. So I'm certain you will forget this movie days after watching it - the whole story and idea is nothing new or original - but maybe that makes it at least rewatchable when there's nothing better available.

I almost saw this in the theater for my birthday, but it was too late for a double feature. So, I promised to make time for this as I love Michael Bay movies and my heart falls apart at Eiza Gonzalez's beauty. Two men raised as brothers come together to commit a bank robbery on the same day a veteran EMT does her job to save an officer down. But she ends up becoming a hostage while trying to do so all as the LAPD elite attempt to stop the two men. A simple story but so well told and filmed that only Michael Bay can bring it. I mentioned I wanted to see this for Eiza Gonzalez and while her beauty smites me she impressed me with her acting, I knew she had it in her. But everybody shines from Jake Gyllenhaal as Danny the lead bank robber on the verge of insanity and Ayaha Abdul-Mateen II as Will, the bank robber forced to rob a bank for personal reasons—still, a great watch.
