American Satan

I have no idea how this movie has such a high rating from critics. It was visually pleasing with a couple of good actors in it. The script was full of philosophical one liners that didn’t flow well at all. The movie was confusing and not in the way it seemed to be trying to be and the apparent take away message didn’t make sense and was inconsistent besides just showing how impactful and dangerous music and art can be to both the arrest and the fans.

Great supernatural thriller mixed with Rockstar and Behind The Music.

Acting is weak, story get better ….many hate or ignore the fact that evil exists in the world. They hate the movie, for all the wrong reasons

This movie was so damned fun!

Absolutely amazing movie. Who would have thought that Andy Biersack can act?The scenery is amazing. The story is cliché but also not. The music is great. Kind of reminds me of Trainspotting. Loved every second of it. Would definitely recommend.

Small town folks with good intentions go to Hollywood to make it on the music scene... then the Devil shows up outside a liquor store in a party wagon and the road to sin begins and American Satan is born. The second half proceeds to drift into all too familiar cliches and predictability for rock star movies of this sort.

The soundtrack is the best part of this movie. Andy Biersack and Remington Leith is two of my favorite rock artists so of course I love this movie. The casting is great. Paradise City is awesome too!

I watched this movie because I follow the band that played for The Relentless (Palaye Royale, great band y'all should check them out) and my friend recommended we watch it together. The build up to the movie, beginning to middle, were great. Everything, both in the sense of quality and the actual storyline itself, went downhill. The ending was strange and seemed just.. completely out of place and very abrupt, and why Lily suddenly became a bitch is beyond me. I really enjoyed it despite these things, but I think it's.. an acquired taste, to say the least.
