A very good faith based story. Although Hollywood glosses over a few things, the story is still very much in tact. And done very well.

I'm amazed at how much work was put into this film! The lightning, 10/10, The Cinematography, 10/10, and the acting is a 10! This is a must watch!!

It was a great feel good movie. A definite recommend. If you're a sports fan, you most likely know the story of Kurt Warner and they really did a good job on retelling it in this film. I believe you will enjoy it. If you don't, your heart is probably blackened and shriveled up and I will pray for you. I had some doubts at first especially the quality level of acting and the script, but it really was a lot better than expected. Maybe that helped things going into it. Anyway, keep it in mind when checking out the choices in the theater or when it becomes a choice to stream into your home.

No mostrando nada nuevo.

A lot of the critics who denigrate this film say it's hokey, and stiff, and if this story were fiction, they'd have a valid point. The problem with any such criticism, however, is that this particular script adheres much closer to the actual truth than most Hollywood movies labeled, "based on a true story" do. It is precisely because this movie is a genuine re-telling of the true story that saw Kurt Warner achieve so much, that it finds a harmonic resonance within the hearts of the American people. Case in point; critics rate this at 75%, but the audience that sees what is essentially a story that confirms the rock-solid values of faith in God--and perseverance as a result of that faith--rate this at 98%! This is not a movie about glitz and glamor, but a film about grit and grace. It is a story of how one woman's faith gave her husband the added depth of character needed to complete him as a husband, a father, and a world-class football competitor. See what the love of a Godly woman of faith can do!!!

If you can look away from some small technical issues (mainly in the background), and the very manipulative religious aspect. Then this is a movie well worth watching. Acting is very good all around.

I was in tears. Best sports movie I have watched in a long time.

This movie is ok. A decent color-by-numbers feel good story. It's hagiography. There are too many storylines and not enough character development. It comes across as a bit wooden and hokey, but that doesn't make it bad per se. "Rudy" does a far better job at humanizing the characters.

This was a great film. Zachary Levi nailed it as Curt, I did a break dance with the music score, and the jokes are pretty clean. Minus .5 stars due to the lack of football action up until the end, and minus 1 star for the unnecessary romance scenes between Curt and Brenda.
