LOVED IT. Action packed from start to finish & the cast is amazing. How can you go wrong with Butler and Freeman together? Excellent

Yes this is a boys film but it’s also a brilliantly crafted action thriller, up there with the die hard films. I’ve loved everything Gerard Butler has done. All three films in this trilogy are excellent.

This movie is the second best out of the trilogy and it had me on the edge of my seat.

Meat and Potatoes action movie that doesn't fall into too much stupidity, which many run-of-the-mill action movies do. Entertaining, but don't expect a masterpiece.

Angel Has Fallen is the third installment in the Has Fallen series but is watchable as a standalone if you happen to stumble upon the movie unprepped like I did. This movie delivers the average, enjoyable political action ride one should expect, packed with high risk, restless pursuits, and light drama. The story follows Secret Services (USSS) Agent Mike Banning who high-tech criminals frame for the attempted assassination of the President of the United States (POTUS). He not only has to evade pretty much all task forces trying to capture him but also unravel what is behind this seemingly elaborate plan. Except the plan is rather simplistic. And the perpetrators obvious. Fans of brainfart action genre should find joy in the shallow story packed with testosterone. The plot points have a lot of convenience to keep the momentum. Escorting a high-grade criminal uses the effective force of only 6 law officers. Task Force dismisses pursuit of the suspect of attempting to assassinate the POTUS just because. FBI dismisses potential lines of investigation due to obvious, in-the-face evidence. If you are expecting an in-depth thriller with intricate treason and corruption storyline, forget it. Fret not, though: Angel Has Fallen is entertaining. Main character Mike Banning is the average macho type. Former Army Ranger, struggling with life, has a wife and a daughter, and a past he is resentful towards, all one could ask from a testosterone-driven man in pursuit of war. He is highly skillful, as we can see from the opening scene, to justify how he can take down everyone alone — of course, Angel Has Fallen has the one scene “stand your ground here while I go around knocking out everyone and saving the day.” He does endure some light drama during the story, but that is only to give him glimpses of humanity. His internal conflicts are background concerns. Director Roman Waugh gets the spotlight to direct the third installment on the Has Fallen series, after his relative success with movies like Snitch and Shot Caller. He went on to write the script for Angel Has Fallen in association with Matt Cook (known for Patriots Day) and Robert Mark Kamen (known for The Karate Kid, The Transporter, Taken, this due is no stranger to the action genre). In Angel Has Fallen, Roman Waugh prefers a fast-paced editing, a ticking clock series of events that only stops when the movie ends. He gives us little time to catch our breath before setting the motion again for the inevitable finale. Angel Has Fallen delivers on its premise of a high-profile, political action-driven movie. You can watch it as part of the series or just go for it unknowingly without watching the previous two installments, both ways work. As a lightweight entertainment piece, this movie gets it right.

The critics just have it in for Gerard Butler for this whole trilogy. This last installment is superb mastering the mix of heroes we root for, villains we despise, and action sequences that suck us in. Like the first two, you're on the edge of your seat for most of the duration. This film was incredibly entertaining. Nick Nolte was fantastic! Great to see him in this film. I think all 3 films are classics of the action genre.

Apesar de não ter grandes novidades, é melhor do que o segundo filme!

The first movie did a great job of introducing the franchise and the last movie did a great job of setting an ending for a franchise. It did a great job as an entertaining movie
