Anjana Anjani

At first, I really hated the direction "Anjaana Anjaani" was going. The whole first half felt like it trivialized a serious issue and was paced very poorly. I think the movie is saved from being a complete failure by a decent second half. However, I don't think it is enough to qualify this as an okay or good movie. This type of love story has been countless times in Bollywood and this movie doesn't really bring anything particularly new or inventive to this genre. The movie has some entertaining moments, but there are many that drag this movie out into being absurdly long without any reason. Overall, it's a movie with an okay second half but is mostly not the best way to spend two and a half hours.

An OK movie with an OK storyline.

This movie is amazing, definitely one of my favorite movies, it has a nice story and has an interesting idea and ends up being entertaining to watch.

Starts off with Ranbir and PC's characters meeting on the edge of the Washington Bridge, where both were attempting suicide. Their plans get kinda thwarted, so they postpone suicide to a further date (20 days later). Aside from the predictability that they would fall in love along the way, the film does have some insights to share, ie. Time gives us a chance to view things in a different light, and things may not feel so bad a week later, and even Akash's own eventual realization; "have we even tried once to solve those things?" And finally, if all else is naught, the other could turn out to be the reason each wants to stay alive for!

I loved it. Made me laugh and cry. Catchy music, romantic and entertaining.

Utter Waste. and 155 minutes, not even worth your free time.

This was a very kool movie. I had my apprehensions about Bollywood films, but this movie was a turning point for me. The actors did a very good job and the cinematography was really good. It's a great romantic comedy of two strangers that deals with the hardships they face in their lives and that they think their own world in crashing down but doesn't realise that the other person maybe going through much worse.

I really liked this boy meets girl story. The circumstances in which they meet are not typical, but the ending is pretty standard and good.

Except for the brilliant soundtrack from Vishal-Shekhar, this was an absolute trash of a movie
