Anna

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI loved it. Well, I like Luc Besson's work, so there's that 😜 Sasha Luss interprets her character perfectly. Lots of action and tempo fits this specific movie. Good cinematography and great scenery and locations. Whole cast seems convincing in character. If you like Besson's style, you will relate
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat Spy Thriller with many twists & turns. Well written and great production. 9/10
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsYou could see that this was a Luc Besson film... action, suspense, intrigue & action, action, action. Double agent, triple agent, seeing the scenes & then backtracking seeing how everything unfolded to the create the events, I have to say that I sincerely enjoyed this film. You can tell this was conceived by the same man who was behind La Femme Nikita.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis is the type of stuff Besson should soar in like Sam Raimi in Horror or Hitchcock with Thrillers. And yet it's by the numbers and not well made. The editing isn't good. It feels like pieces are missing or were cut out, it's extremely unfocused at times, and very jumpy. This has a out of order storytelling to start also which I'm not sure why that was needed and doesn't add anything. Everything else is just alright about it. The direction is alright, the action scenes are Bourne style fights we've seen plenty of and pretty standard stuff. The dialouge is clunky at times. The music is very boring, generic, and forgettable. This does get more fcoused in the second half with Anna looking to get out of the assassin life and cuts down on so many subplots. This has the barebones stuff for a movie like this. It's missing the fleshed out supporting characters and slower moments. Like we never really see her train, make mistakes, develop relationships with her signifcant other or friends in a real fleshed out way. It's barebones hey this is the friend or whoever and your supposed to care about them in under 30 seconds. And we won't see them again for another 10 minutes and than disappears completely. Than the fact we just see her killing people on assignments with no tension, planning, or buildup. Just straight to the kills on to the next key plot point. Which is something you'd expect for a 90 minute movie. Not darn close to 2 hours. It's so weird. Her relationship with Murphy who probably is the best thing in this is just ok just comes out of nowhere too. The way she gets out makes sense and probably would work if this was just better executed. It just feels so rushed, clunky, and at times like it's just going through the motions. Skip This. Besson has done way better and there are way better assassin movies.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI asked the AI to find me a movie or series with a similar theme like Hanna, and it found this movie. Although there were some shortcomings in the movie, it was very good. The acting, effects and script were great. The movie goes back to the past a lot. First it shows the future to the audience, then the past. In fact, it kind of shows the reason for the event. Russian productions are by far very good at these kinds of series and movies. I'm taking a star off, because there are some movies or series that you get attached to while watching, they didn't revive that feeling in me or I set my expectations too high. Definitely give it a chance and watch it. Thank you for your efforts.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThe disparity between the critic and audience reviews speaks volumes… watch this if you want an entertaining spy flick that’s as engaging as it is fun. Don’t watch it if you’re a stuffy moron that has no sense of joy left in your miserable existence
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed the heck out of Anna. Sasha Luss is so much fun and a helluva action actress. It would be wonderful to see what she could do with a big budget francise. It amazes me she has done a handful of disposable films since Anna. Am I missing something? Luc Besson, why is she stuck in C films? Anyway, Anna is a great popcorn movie with lot's of action and characters. Helen Mirren and Cillian Murphy bring some valuable credibility to Anna -
Vale apena assistir? Sim com certeza. Nota: 9
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe movie has a good plot.
