Annabelle Comes Home
audience Reviews
, 70% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI enjoyed this far more than I expected.. does a good job of incorporating elements from the Conjuring universe while stilling caring enough about the plot to not be so heavy handed. I just wish they would have used the original look for the Annabelle doll, which I think is infinitely scarier!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPara mí fue la mejor de la trilogía, es la mejor, me cagué de los sustos, fue increíble, se las recomiendo, de verdad véanla, véanla, y verán que no quedarán decepcionados
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA large portion of this does not contain a horror theme, but this certainly an improvement from Annabelle.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt’s another Conjuring universe movie, don’t expect anything groundbreaking. That said I enjoyed its restraint in number of characters, story line, and setting. Good tension, jump scares, and build-up. Their restraint upped the suspension of disbelief and made this one of the more enjoyable and scary movies in the franchise for me.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI like this movie. Good 70s tunes; and a scary fun time of what it would be like to babysit at the Warren house! There was some sweetness, too, at the end. It may not be a literary masterpiece; but it's an enjoyable watch for fans of The Conjuring series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt was really fun to watch and was really scary, but there were some times where I was just uninterested with it. I definitely recommend it for horror fans!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsSo far, all of the Conjuring films have been respectable, no major misses. Another good film with Annabelle stealing the show. No real issues with the plot, just questioned some character choices but that's prolly just a horror movie thing. Not bad!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAnnabelle Comes Home offers a satisfyingly terrifying playtime for fans of the Annabelle franchise, Conjuring movies, and the horror genre in general. Instead of focusing solely on a compelling story, the film cleverly uses The Warren’s home, filled with cursed and haunted ornaments, as its backdrop. While it doesn’t rely heavily on jump scares and cliches, it effectively creates a sense of dread and unease throughout the movie. Grading: C+
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars'Annabelle Comes Home' is snooze central. It asks the question: What would happen if Lorraine & Ed Warren's artifacts room turned into 'Night at the Museum'. The answer? Boredom. We oddly end up largely following a babysitter's friend (yes, really). Aside from one or two moments at the very end, I don't even remember anything interesting happening in this - needless to say, the 106 minute run time dragged real hard. We get Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson in this side of the franchise at last, though so brief it's barely worth it. Mckenna Grace, Madison Iseman and Katie Sarife are the main character in this and they themselves are alright, I didn't find any watchability in the people they were portraying but I have nothing against the trio. They star in what isn't this franchise's worst, but it sure is close to being so.
