, 87% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCringe inducing dialogue, ridiculous storyline (abusing a $1000 per hour rescue helicopter) and truly terrible music. Avoid.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsHad its moments but just couldn't hack it with the leads and script that had more misses than hits. Obviously fans of Sweeney and Powell would like it more, but they just didn't do it for me, and while Shipp is a pleasure the supporting cast overall is forgettable while Shipp should've gotten more screen time.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsVery good story Very good comedy Watch it or be sad
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCritics, Y’all are absolutely nuts bc this movie is probably the ROM Com of the century. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe worst rom-com I’ve EVER seen. So unbelievably cringy with terrible acting. My friend and I took a drink every time Glen Powell was shirtless…it was an unnecessary amount 😂
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGood stuff! One of my favorites.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis movie was absolutely hilarious. It kept me laughing almost the whole movie but there were moments where the moments acting could've been better.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsNice slice of nostalgia, but immense unreleased potential. The core of this story is actually really good, mature, and fun, but sometimes the movie is way to heavy on the corny rom-com tropes which makes me feel very bad about myself for watching such stupidity. I think the slapstick humor is refreshing, and there are some weird people/characters in the movie which they could've utilized more for more weird humor and less of the cutesy stuff. I suppose, I just don't see eye to eye with the vision of the creatives. But it's a fun time, "unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield is brought back which is great, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell are a good duo, start of the movie was perfect, but had its cringe moments throughout.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThoughtless, un-provoking, and lost. The Rom-Com is destroyed by awkward writing, unfortunate use of music, and a lack of strong acting. What could have been a hate to love story that is loved like "the hating game" or "the proposal", lacks something meaningful and finds an easy way out. Sweeney was given nothing to work with in the writing of her character.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsSomtimes movies don't need to be anything more than fun and kind of sweet. The added raunchiness was only a bonus. We're in a dearth of fun rom coms and this hit a sweet spot.
