Apollo 13

Apollo 13 is an amazingly well-written, well directed Sci-Fi thriller that features great performances from the ensembled cast, solid musical score from James Horner, and stellar visual effects.

we had to watch it in school and break it up into like 4 sections so maybe that affected my rating. regardless, it’s a pretty solid movie and it’s worth a watch.

Apollo 13 is considered a classic for a reason. I was glued from start to finish, which isn't typical for films based off true stories. Every actor did a phenomenal job, the script is crisp and you leave the movie feeling inspired. Solid film. Best Character: Ken Mattingly Best Quote: NASA Director, "This could be the worst disaster NASA's ever experienced." Gene, "With all due respect, sir, I believe this is gonna be our finest hour." Best Scene: The tense 4 minutes Best Piece of Score: Main Title Apollo 13 Note: I love the algae story.

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas, o elenco é mais ou menos, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é mais ou menos, os personagens sao mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.

A great space film. Ron Howard is a great director. Tom Hanks is an awesome actor. The movie was about one of the NASA missions after the first moon landing. The zero gravity scene was cool.

O homem simples e cotidiano, que janta com a sua família e come arroz, feijão, bife e ovo frito, o que resulta em personagens com os quais qualquer pessoa pode verdadeiramente se identificar. Isso pode ser visto em filmes como "O Resgate do Soldado Ryan" (1998), "Prenda-me Se For Capaz" (2002), "Capitão Philips" (2013), "Ponte dos Espiões" (2015), entre outros, assim como em "Apollo 13: Do Desastre ao Triunfo". Através de uma atuação contida, porém carregada de forte presença emocional, Hank nos leva em uma intensa e eletrizante história real de sobrevivência, marcada por um profundo senso de liderança em momentos de crise, uma excelente trilha sonora de James Horner e uma imersiva produção de arte, que realmente nos insere dentro do claustrofóbico ambiente de uma nave presa na desolação do espaço.

Has to be one of the most boring movies ever. It felt like an eternity to watch. Sorry, just not recommendable. 1.5/5 Starts

Even though you know the ending because it's based on a true story, it's so well crafted and it has so many great roles and great actors it's still such a pleasure to watch. This is really a Dream Team cast and extremely well directed. A must see for space adventure fans and everybody else.

I've seen this movie a couple of times and each time I thoroughly enjoy it. It is so captivating and well done. Every time I watch it I am on the edge of my seat. The cast and director do such a great job in making this moment in history really accessible to the viewer. You never really feel like you lack the knowledge to know what's happening even though the subject matter is quite complex. This is the gold standard for how a history related movie should be made. So, so good.
