Sweet and dramatic story about a young American girl's experience with friends, religion, family, and growing up.

Very disappointed in this movie. It did not convey the true feel of the early '70's. Felt as though the movie was geared towards appeasing current audiences, and the cast members did not reflect the true time of that era. It was somewhat hate motivated, as Nancy Wheeler was made out to be the 'intolerant' child. It was boring and predictable.

This coming-of-age dramedy is a well-done production. I laughed at the comedic parts intermingled with the dramatic storytelling.

Honest, uplifting and positive without being too sweet. The director treats all the characters well. A real treat. Watch it, you'll feel better for doing so.

**Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret** is everything I hoped for and more. After hearing it recommended over and over, my expectations were sky-high—and it absolutely delivered. I've never seen a coming-of-age story that's so funny, charming, and respectful toward young girls. It tackles big themes like religion, puberty, and self-discovery with humor and so much care. Honestly, they should show this in schools because it handles these topics better than most health classes ever could. The acting? Incredible. You’ll fall in love with every character—they feel so real and relatable. I laughed, I teared up, I cringed (in a good way). It’s one of those rare movies that makes you feel *everything* while still being endlessly entertaining. If you haven’t seen it yet, drop everything and watch it. I can’t recommend this enough—truly one of the best coming-of-age movies I’ve ever seen.

A very realistic and heart warming coming of age Looks into religion in a different way to any film I've seen before but mostly focuses on puberty and what it's like being a very normal adolescent
