, 77% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIf you like artistic, psychological films then you'll enjoy this. I would give it a higher rating if I felt it had more depth for me to ponder. It got a little cheesy (& distracting) towards the middle to end as it tried wrapping up the presented ideas. This seemed to pull me out of the story and therefore lessen the impact of an otherwise interesting concept. The cinematography was awesome in regards to how it showed liminal spaces. Great music too! It's worth a watch if you're looking for something chill & artsy to think about and can't find anything amongst all the commercial films.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsIt started strong but then became a mess
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis is really one of the worst film I have ever seen! I normally don’t rate monies but I feel I have to tell everybody!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPretentious hogwash seemingly written by a teenager with ADHD. This is pure angst filled pretentious foolishness. Most of the scenes will make you want to throw up, while the rest makes you want to yawn. Renate Reinsve makes another bad performance. Watching these messy and disturbed movies coming from Norway you will not be harsh thinking that the whole nation is suffering from borderline personality disorder. Grandpa and grandma must be so proud of you Mr. Wannabe Director. Don't waste your time. This is not art. This is crap.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsToo long, unexplained, inserted fantasy sequences that didn't work - movie is like a 2 hour fever dream
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA nice different change of pace movie. It messes with your head and I kind of like that.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsInteresting, original, engrossing and off-the-beaten-path.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsArmand gets too surreal and pretentious for its own good, but for the most part is a grounded depiction of the tenuous relationship between education and parenthood.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsStill very confused about the ending. Cannot even imagine an ending.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt's better not to know anything about it ahead of time in my opinion. The trailer doesn't give anything important away, and it's a deeply complicated film that I found definitely worth struggling with. It had me engaged for every incredible moment. I just loved it!
