audience Reviews
, 46% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsWell it kept me entertained for a couple of hours. A lot of sniffy reviews but it was watchable- the action sequences were well done. The dialogue was a bit clunky, and the story predictable but the baddies were bad and the goodies good. J Lo delivered her limes well enough. I believed her character and my interest was held.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt's a fun movie to watch, yes the writing is awful but Lopez is what makes it, not a total waste basket movie.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCorny and predictable. J-Lo just cannot act. Her character is supposed to be a genius, but the characters displays no hyperintelligence and her dialogue is 90% angry ghetto clichés directed towards a robot.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDefinitely a good sci-fi movie. Better than what critics are saying.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis is a sc-ifi drama. We get to hear about a lady’s (Jennifer Lopez’s) childhood trust issues while she sits inside a robot. There is a small amount of other sci-fi ish things that happen but they don’t add much #plotfail
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsA horribly disfigured J-Lo (terrible surgery) takes Rambo style acting lessons from Sylvester Stallone.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPlease stop hiring Jlo for movies, she is just bad.....
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsFull Disclosure: Although I'm a SciFi addict :), not a Jennifer Lopez fan, whose "acting" talents are best limited to rom-coms. I wanted to give her credit for trying, though, so I watched it. This film was goofy in that a legit Scientist with the body of experience & knowledge her character was accredited with, would NOT freak out during a tech crisis like a high schooler whose pants ripped at cheerleading practice. It was very silly. Not to be hateful-- but she honestly has neither the intellectual heft nor acting chops to carry a role like this, but I guess it's admirable that she tried something new? Seriously...find something else to watch; you'll be relieved of the irritation of suffering through this goofy debacle.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAtlas is amazing movie
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI don’t know why people are hating on this movie. The main criticism I see is that it’s not a fresh, new story. Well, all of Hollywood is in trouble if that is the standard. This is the classic tale of “neurotic woman overcomes neurosis and saves the day.” She does it with the help of an AI, metal exoskeleton combo named Smith. It’s a story of love and betrayal and healing set in the future after a mass genocide of humans by AI bots. J.Lo plays off the AI voice of Smith really well and there are some sincere moments of laughter and tears. I’ve watched it more than once. It’s entertaining. It’s fun. It’s heartfelt. What can I say, I like pie and I like cake!
