Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan
audience Reviews
, 15% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsEvery bit the B movie cheese fest you'd expect. Taking off points due to the scene that was supposed to be in 1894 looking like it was in 2013.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsits bad, but very entertaining.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsPlot is not too bad This Film can be Another great Horor Film But This CG in 2013 Make Me Laugh So Hard lol.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEvery now and then we need to relearn the lesson taught by the adage "Never judge a book by it's cover", because the Axe Giant cover is awesome, but the movie is mediocre. I appreciate a dark twist on folklore as much as the next guy, but it has to work out in practice, which Axe Giant fails at entirely. Most of its problems are those that are hard to avoid in low-budget endeavours, but that doesn't excuse the issues, nor does it cover up a poor script or inconsistent canon. The end credits promise that Paul Bunyan will "Return", I can't really see that happening. And if it does, you can't count me amongst its audience.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsAnother typical teeny bopper gore fest made even worse by lots of blue-screen cgi.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsFelt like i was watching victory crowleys retarded giant brother
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsIt definitely could have been worse. The filmmaker at least made an attempt to create a sympathetic monster. You could definitely do better, but if you're into the whole "teen slasher" genre, you could also definitely do worse.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsSo campy and wonderful in it's campy goodness.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe acting was horrible, with the exception of the Counselor lady. The Paul Bunyan character was horrible. Instead of going the ridiculous route, why didn't they just hire an actor over 7 ft to make it a more realistic, and less laughable. Wow....
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI saw it, and it was pretty bad.
