Azrael

, 59% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBro this movie was so bad.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsWhat a slow movie that goes nowhere. Lots of gore and violence. Cannot recommend at all.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsSo who ever decided to write a post apocalyptic movie about life after the Biblical Rapture, probably should have opened a Bible first before writing this utter failure! It is hard for me to take any of this seriously because I know the Biblical Rapture very well . If they had just made a post apocalyptic movie and left the Bible out of it I wouldn’t be so critical but this is like knowing the story of Alive in Wonderland and watching a story about a lady named Alice go to a strip bar in Vegas it’s hilarious how Hollywood has become so lazy in writing and imagination!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIt has no starting point and it ends with a great twist but this story still manages to introduce a sharp biblical outlook upon a fallen world. It's a cinematic interpretation of the struggle between sin and merit. The rapture presents the survivors with what they sow and it's the definitive end of everything known. A perfect post apocalyptic drama with a good cast that puts up a great performance. Unqiue sound effects thanks to the uncommon nature of story. Great special effects and visuals. Perfect backgrounds. Azrael's uniqueness makes watching it worthwhile but it's message is to not wait for ruptures to become faithful
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsSamara Weaving is great, as always, but Azrael needed more plot. It was kind of boring for what it was. I did like the ending though.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsEl Katz's 'Azrael' plunges viewers into a darkly captivating cult world, where the protagonist, a femme fatale, exists under constant threat. The film masterfully charts her evolution from utter incompetence to a force of terrifying, murderous agency. Visually stunning and thrilling, 'Azrael' delivers a unique cinematic experience. While the heroine's initial blunders tested my patience, the subsequent redemption arc proved exceptionally rewarding. This film is a compelling journey through a strange and dangerous landscape, and I found it thoroughly enjoyable.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA small, low-budget horror gem that manages to entertain for its 85 minutes. It features interesting direction, a mind-blowing soundtrack, and a leading lady who continues to establish herself as the queen of survival horror films, Australian Samara Weaving. As if that weren't enough, Victoria Carmen Sonne joins the cast, another reason to give this blood-soaked cult show a try.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFantastic film. Samara Weaving is phenomenal as always. Definitely worth a watch if you are into the Walking Dead type style. I'll admit a few things should have been explained better, but overall, a great bloody adventure.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsSuperb post apocalyptic folk horror with Samara Weaving's great speechless performance shot in Estonian woods. Open to one's own interpretation.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsBetter than reviewers are saying. Samara Weaving is much more of a bad ass than I thought. She takes a licking and keeps on ticking. She gets beat up all throughout this movie! Even though there wasn't any dialogue throughout the movie except for guy in the truck, you pretty much have an idea what is going on. Sure, you don't know where the "zombies" came from or why they exist. And I'm not sure why the characters couldn't have learned sign language if all of their vocal cords were removed. I get that the preggo lady was gonna have the devils baby... but the ending was weird considering Samara Weaver was trying to get away, but I the ending gave new meaning. Still it's a non-stop and kinda intense movie.
